At 199 centimetres, Cameron Gannon is a tall fast bowler who, despite controversy over his unique bowling style, continues to regularly take wickets throughout his career. His extremely promising early start to his career was halted by a ban for illegal bowling style, however upon returning to first class cricket a year later, Gannon has starred for the Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat.
In his return to the Big Bash League for Brisbane Heat, Gannon claimed an impressive eighteen wickets at a strike rate of one wicket every 8.8 deliveries. The towering pace bowler looks a promising talent, ready to deliver on potential, and is sure to take plenty of wickets in this year’s Big Bash League.
